Aquamarine Chip Tree of Life Statue

Wanna hear a funny story? Oh, what am I saying... Of course you do! You're just awesome like that.

So I ordered a pound of quartz crystal points thinking to myself by buying in bulk I was saving a bit of money on materials (and by lowering my cost to make things, I lower the cost I need to charge for them so Yaay! Happiness all around!).

But then they arrived and... well most of them just aren't quite the quality I'd be willing to use in jewelry. At least, not unless I was going for a sort of rugged look (which I might do but moving on). But I dumped them all out of the table to sort through them and I started noticing them some of them might look kinda awesome with a little tree sitting on top.

So I tried it.

And this is what I ended up with.

And it's fairly awesome, if I do say so myself.
